@atomicpoet Most of what I saw as content from Twitter was journalism so I think if journalists keep getting pushed out, Mastodon is a reasonable landing spot.
@atomicpoet New orgs and businesses should host their own instance, pay for someone to host, or pay the instance they join.
@atomicpoet I moved to the Fediverse post G+ demise. It's the right place to be for true individual freedom - free from corporate control. I am not anti-business and anti-org - it is inevitable they will find target markets in the Fediverse. But they will exist in the Fediverse if they join as guests of the people because it is the people on decentralized server instances aka nodes who control the Fediverse. With Tumblr's userbase of 135 million and growing, Vivaldi's userbase and Chrome/Firefox userbase via extensions providing easier entry for Mastodon users, critical mass is inevitable soon. We are not products.

@atomicpoet That's just a community article, and I don't think it's quite saying that. Would be cool to start seeing them link to and embed Mastodon content though.
