They then slowly crept down to just under 1000. Just two hours ago (5pm PST) they spiked over 2500 again. He really is the primary driver of new users to Mastodon!

I mean, I lagged on moving because Twitter is where the content producers are (were), but several went POOF in the past couple days.

KowloonGhost@atomicpoet I tried to use the birdsite only passively (not doing likes, comments or dms. Read only) and even that was impossible. Every popular post is full of right wing fascists and and elonophiles. Journalism is dead there. The more trolls I block, hundreds come after. Completely insufferable place to be.
