Robyn PennacchiaIt's pretty clear at this point that the whole point of everything Musk has been doing with Twitter, and the reason he bought it in the first place, has been to shut down/punish journalists who don't kiss his ass.
The "blue checks" thing wouldn't have been an issue if they had only ever been given to very famous celebrities. The fact that journalists and writers he and others hadn't ever heard of had them as well was what drove them up the wall.
