Can anyone explain what happened to Marc? He used to not be this way. He actually used to have a pretty good understanding of content moderation and free speech issues. And now... this?

@glennf @will i think it really only shifted into overdrive during the pandemic. what's funny is that he used to talk with me on occasion, and even would send around techdirt stories to a16z folks to read.

But then, somewhere in 2021 he suddenly blocked me, about a month after he had randomly emailed me some nice comments. It was weird.

@mmasnick @will oh he blocked me years ago after perfectly reasonable Bitcoin conversation when I asserted tech bros were real and he insisted bizarrely they didn't exist. I suggested perhaps they didn't show their toxic behavior in front of him.
