I appear to read a lot of one particular person's work. They don't appear to have a presence on Mastodon, alas.

@mdy Have you tried the autocomplete thing? (Typing a wild guess at the beginning of their likely user name into a post and seeing if it suggests them.)

@timtfj I haven't yet. I did take a few mins to look up their Twitter profile to (1) see if they had a Mastodon address on the bio, and (2) search their Tweets for any mention of the word Mastodon. Both turned up nada.

@mdy I had a go with autocomplete just after suggesting it, and ddn't get anywhere. I think they might really not be on here.
