@seldo It made a huge difference for me. In one shot, I was able to reconnect on Mastodon with the many worthies I followed on the Bird site, while at the same time significantly reducing the number of times I visit that hateful place.

@seldo I'm excited because now I'm finding excellent voices I knew from Twitter (like yours) because of my home timeline on mastodon exposing them.

That's a huge deal for me. It's a massive turning point.

Attached: 1 image #Twitter is now preventing users from linking to some popular Mastodon instances (specifically #hachyderm at least) in their profiles. The link is present in my active profile from a while ago, I went to update something else today as part of locking down the account and discovered that I couldn’t change anything with the link present.

@seldo Me too! Pretty much have my Mastodon feed looking like my Twitter feed used to — minus a few favorite accounts either not having migrated over or not posting regularly here. I go to Twitter once a day to see if the missing ones have moved yet.
