@m_clem My sense is that so many institutions and individuals cannot let go of their audience. Many say "Twitter is still working for me, ignore Elon". I am sure most would leave if there was a way to leave Twitter with your followers.
In my case, I have not shut down my Twitter account but I have stopped posting. I miss the audience but I cannot justify providing any content there.
