This holiday period I'm trying to contribute to various #foss projects I regularly use by adding small stuff that I feel were missing and think improves the tool.

Yesterday I submitted some improvements to TUI telegram client #tg. Today I submitted extra feed symbols for TUI mastodon client #tut. (screenshot attached). Earlier this week I was hacking on #Hyprland.

Another feature still on my wishlist is to add browsable gallery/thumbnail support to a minimalistic wayland-based image viewer. This is functionality I'm used to from #sxiv and am dearly missing now I am on #wayland. Perhaps I'll dive into the codebase of #imv and give it a try; unless someone has better recommendations?

@proycon Nice, t没t means kiss in Frysian, btw
@djoerd @rasmus Ha, I didn't know t没t meant kiss in Frisian, that's nice to know :) (Tagging the author of #tut as well). I suppose it has various meanings in various languages (like 褌褍褌 in Russian is a very common word meaning "here")
@proycon @djoerd @rasmus the reason I went with tut is because it means toot in Swedish :)
@proycon
Ohh I like the different color variations 馃樆
For a long term #tut user I never considered that this would be an added value for visibility. But it sure is 馃憤
@toxision Thanks! My main objective here (and with the symbols) was to help increase the signal to noise ratio, making it easier to identify posts worth checking with on a single glance.
