From January 1, PCR tests will no longer be free in #Australia unless you have a referral from your GP. And you will need a positive PCR test in order to obtain antiviral treatment.

This in the middle of a crisis where it is very hard to find GPs in many areas, where bulk billing is becoming very rare, and where many medical centres will not even receive you if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms.

So be prepared to spend money and quite a lot of your time, effort in getting a PCR test.

With this move, it seems the Government has figured a way of eradicating #COVID on paper 👏
