If you needed to run 2-3 containers with fairly simple requirements and a relatively low budget, is there a SaaS offering you would use?

(Excluding self-hosting in a VM or at home here.) ๐Ÿ˜‰

@major Code-Engine! from IBM Cloud :)
@major We could pair up and stream it...if you want ;)
@jjasghar @major it's honestly so easy to use and you can probably get away with the free tier every month. JJ and I did that with Code Engine before I left and with hundreds of hits per month it was still under the threshold.

@major if you do not need x86-64 then check Oracle cloud. 4 arm cores, 24GB ram in free tier.

Some people run 3 instances using those resources.

@major talking up my own employer: Spectro Cloud has an app-dev mode that offers a complimentary virtual #kuberbetes cluster with 12 vCPU, 16 GiB of memory, and 20 GiB storage.

The signup is here: https://console.spectrocloud.com/dev/auth/signup

And the docs here: https://docs.spectrocloud.com/devx/

console.spectrocloud.com

@major If I get it correctly, https://www.civo.com gives you a small one-node k3s managed deployment for $5/month. Not sure how much I would trust them, but I haven't found any red flags on their website.
