Ignoring the fact I've had Covid so was not reading my emails... and that this was sent to my personal GMail address... and that I'd said I work for Acme Inc, I'm really not sure the passive agressive tone of this message would incite me to reach out to them. Oh, and their grammar sucks too!
@garethwilliams I think that's a hard pass and a domain block

@garethwilliams Maybe it's always been like this, but in the past two years I've noted receiving these very casual and almost snarky sales emails - one follow-up recently said (paraphrasing) "I'll assume you don't care about securing your data as you haven't replied". That's an instant block for me.

What ever happened to the formal "This is our company, this is what we do, could we talk to you?"

@securopean completely agree. It's annoying when they're the ones reaching out unsolicited, in the first place. I have nothing against emails being personal and informal but only once we've established some form of relationship.

As for assuming you don't care about securing your data... Wow, that's just rude! They know nothing about what you're doing, or about how busy you've been with other stuff. Ugh, some sales people are the worst.

I wonder if it's any better outside our industry?
