The underlying bigotry for all of what is happening is MISOGYNY. We just don't notice it , because its so acceptable in the US.
Most people don't realize that the US is the 6th most dangerous country to be female excluding war zones. Women are more likely to be attacked, raped or killed in Oklahoma than in the so-called shithole countries (which in reality are a breathe of fresh air for most women).
