Looking forward to get up in the morning to feed these fellows.
@janawinderen Thank you for sharing those images. It is amazing to feed them; feels really tactile, or bursting with a special kind of subtle energy. Winter can be hard in terms of the relative rarity of seeing other creatures, but your post is a reminder that there’s still a lot we can be privileged to see, even in the city. A lot more going on, just needs a different tracking from us. 😊 Such delightful, beautiful creatures; love everything about their movements, interactions.
@Cognessence yeah, they have such different individual characters. One Great Tit male just decided to sit on my hood:). He used to knock on my window and sit on my doorstep. But he is gone now. Sad really.
@janawinderen It’s lovely to read the Great Tit decided to sit on your hood! (and the other behaviours.) Sorry he’s gone.😥 For some reason love to hear details in others’ perceptions in animal encounters: the specifics of their varying responses, modes or expression, displays, even manner of taking food. On personality: I inherited 2 Uromastyx lizards; same age/subspecies & both reactive & aware of us, but SO different. Also have approached food in opposite ways consistently since the beginning.
