I've seen in your bio that you were with Be a little ago. 😀 Would you mind if I asked you what's your opinion on #Haiku_os?
Dave Johnson@ama It's so long ago. I think such efforts are crushed by the huge companies. An OS is one more "network effect" problem. So we're stuck with inferior.
But I think the state of things now is pretty good. You can do everything you need on a laptop now, and get it done plenty quick.
That's sad. But I agree, one can do pretty much anything with #Haiku_OS already. I'm running it on one of my laptops and everything works just fine, except for the sound, which I haven't been able to figure out. I hope alpha 4 fixes it. 😀
