Abandoned America
No need for chains, friend. I've already made up my mind about Mastodon. When the sale of Qwitter went through I was looking at a bunch of different alternatives but quickly decided Mastodon was the one for me. I like and respect the community here, and the bedrock it's built on is so much better too. I'm grateful for the kind welcome I've received and appreciate the new place to share my work and learn from others ❤️

@AbandonedAmerica @WendyMsGator I wish more people would give Mastodon an earnest 2 week trial. The majority would realize it's just superior to Twitter in many ways

@JJ_Mannsur @AbandonedAmerica @WendyMsGator The problem right now is the entrenched Twitter user base not moving. I closed my twitter account and moved over, but most of the people I followed have not made the move. I won’t be going back and will live here going forward, but that is a huge barrier to many to make the move.
