Putting this little ceramic tree on my night stand is about the only decorating I’ve done, but my mother-in-law asked if we put up a tree, and Pat immediately said, “Yes! Mignon put up a tree,” and wow, he really made me sound better than I am in that moment!

@grammargirl I have my parent’s porcelain tree. It sits on the mantle year round and is our nightlight for when we need to stumble to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Nice to have something festive in those bleary eyed moments.

The tree been up for three days yet... There not a bloody decoration on it... But hey we can of got everything out of the basement... By everything I mean about half the decorations I inherited from mom and did not have the heart to give away yet.
