We already have a tanking birth rate - coincidentally partially the result of govt lack of care towards young adults in regards to housing and childcare - now they're just letting young children die for no reason. The scale of this is only just beginning. This will carve out our population pyramid and we are in for the shit. 😡 😡
@yassie_j I cannot believe how allegedly intelligent people like teachers are punishing parents for not sending sick kids to school, not sharing who is sick etc...just makes me want to scream 'what is the matter with you'!!! As for some hospitals dropping masks....
@TifaDaisyDewdrop it is safe to say that this govt just does not care about the populace. You can argue (incorrectly) that previous Tory govts actually had some semblance of care for the citizenry, but I feel that BoJo and Sunak have just acted like they treat the Treasury and the people as their personal piggy banks.
@yassie_j Exactly - and I nearly choke when some Tories actually call Sunak 'Socialist' because he raised taxes - as if he's doing it for OUR good - he's just topping up money they can channel away to donors and pals!
@TifaDaisyDewdrop socialism is when the govt does stuff. And the more stuff the govt does, the more socialism it is! And when the govt does a lot of stuff... Well that's communism!
@yassie_j For me, Socialism is when the Govt makes sure that things in a country are so organised that everyone has what they need if they cannot provide for themselves and that workers benefit from the wealth they create. Communism isn't for me.

@TifaDaisyDewdrop even David fucking Cameron had a pandemic task force that was designed to prevent and contain a Covid-style scenario, and BoJo scrapped that task force in ***Jan 2020***. David Cameron had an actual working, systematic plan to nuke the virus from orbit. The Tories no longer are a party that has a difference of opinion, they're a party driven by unrepentant hedonism with no respect for their own voters, let alone the public.
