@bo1kitten Man, I remember the days when basic online meeting date safety was "Don't just get into a stranger's car. Meet someone for the first time in a public setting where people will hear you if you call for help".

Uber has really lowered the bar for the trustworthiness of strangers offering you a lift these days lol. I'm sure you're nice but there's a basic level of personal safety that seems to have been forgotten, especially by the zoomers and later generations. I think serial killers have just become less prominent in the media of late and people are becoming more complacent...
