@Mari311 If representatives are making the decisions it's not a democracy, it's a politician party.

@Mari311 Absolutely. And I’ll add to your illustrious list: enslavement of Black people for hundreds of years happened—and the genocide of millions of Native Americans happened. Hundreds of years of free Black labor in the US has yet to be reparated or recompensed.

@Mari311 Hard agree, absolutely. I'd quibble on a couple details, though.

Hitler wasn't evil incarnate. He was a human being who CHOSE to be that evil. There are many more where he came from.

I'd also avoid using the term fascist, not because I'm sure it isn't accurate, but because it could be wrong and it wouldn't change anything. The sedition caucus and their cult could be, technically, some OTHER kind of authoritarian tyrants.

@Mari311 It's all true. However, Jews were not the only victims in the Holocaust. There were Romani, Communist, Antifas, Black Germans, Mixed Race, POWs, LGBTQ, physically and mentally disabled. The numbers of those killed were right, but it wasn't just one group of people.
