Let me make this *abundantly* clear. If you are symptomatic or at risk of being infectious with something that could complicate your patient’s clinical course, a fit-tested respirator (N95, FFP2, P2) is a low cost measure that you as a healthcare worker ignore to the detriment of your patient’s safety.
This is not controversial & is reflected in the current COVID policy instituted in many hospitals, but is likely just as relevant for #influenza, #RSV, #Rhinovirus. #Masks #COVID19 #PatientSafety
