I like that I am meeting all sorts of new people, who are by and large friendly and welcoming. I like that I don’t need to endure ads or worry about “influence” to talk to my fellow humans.

I wish I posted more often, and that other people did too. I got into such a habit of giving nothing of myself to the algorithms that I haven’t participated much on social media for the last few years.

How about you? What is your answer?

No algorithm. Hands down the best part. Allow yourself a chunk of free time to go down the rabbit hole. One toot leads to another new person and then another corner of this place. Following hashtags that interest you is a great tool.

I really cannot think of anything that I would change. I like exploring and meeting funny, intelligent, creative, and talented people. That is endless on here without interference or manipulation.

And I love the animated avatar feature.
