Does anyone know where I can get this book for a not insane price??
@RetroBreak sadly it’s been sold out for quite a few years now.
And I think they did a smaller print run of the English version compared to the original French one. Although I’m not 100% sure on that.
I wish they would do a reprint or at least a digital edition as they are great little books.
@OutofPrintArchive yeah seems like the English one sold out everywhere and no reprints.. I can find the French one still at affordable prices :( wish every modern book also had a digital version!
@RetroBreak I seem to remember them having a bit of trouble getting the English ones out.
Something with the translation and then the cost of it all.
And how it took way longer than expected.
Not sure they actually sold all that well either as people became inpatient.
@OutofPrintArchive that’s a shame.. a few people are asking the writer on twitter for me so we shall see if he comes back with anything..
@RetroBreak
They are really nice people.
I was buying their books and some of the smaller zines years back. And whenever something popped up, they were super friendly and helpful.
@OutofPrintArchive awesome sounds promising then! Have you ever thought about scanning out of print books as well as magazines? It would probably be a lot more work to get the text right on each page I imagine?
@RetroBreak
It hasn’t really crossed my mind to be honest.
I think it might be quite a bit more troublesome as well with reprints of books being a lot more viable than magazines.
It could get really messy very quickly.
Heck, even for magazine scans I’ve tried to set strict boundaries to not harm peoples livelihoods in any way.
@OutofPrintArchive I didn’t think about it from a legalities point of view.. must be a fine line to tread with re-uploading anything!

@RetroBreak
It really is.
Which is why I feel blessed that all the publishers, editors and writers I've had the pleasure of contacting, or having them reach out to me, have been really supportive of what I do.

It was really scary at first, but I think having a very clear message and following through on it made a huge difference.
