One of the things I find hard to understand about moving to a place with some seasons (not quite real four seasons, but still) from a lifetime of living in single season places (near the equator): I haven’t grasped that life and habits change over the year, and it’s okay to.
I get so angry at myself for not being able to follow routines I set for myself in the summer, like not going out for a run at 7am in the winter because it’s dark and a little cold. It’s irrational, but I simply haven’t grasped how to exist at this latitude. Or how my mood changes with the weather.
@skinnylatte if it makes you feel any better I’m the same way despite never knowing anything but this
@skinnylatte it’s tough. Dont be hard on yourself. 💗 that said i do have jackets…lots of jackets and scarves and gloves and hats and layers and layers 😂
@skinnylatte feeling all of this today 💜💜
@skinnylatte It’s good to lean into seasonal change. I’m a Wisconsinite, so it’s pretty extreme here. It’s time to get cozy, the planet’s inviting you to bring different aspects of your personality to the fore. I am looking forward to when the days start getting longer again in a couple weeks.
