@StevenBeschloss I know the Senator and this move doesn’t surprise me. The Democratic Party in AZ is moving further to the left and the Republican Party has gone off the rails. In another cycle independents will be the largest block of voters in Arizona. Arizona is a moderate center right state. Conservatives did well here in 2022 - as long as they weren’t election denying wing nuts. I don’t know how this will play out for her, but I suspect it will start a trend nationally.

@StevenBeschloss one more thing. Arizona sent Gosar, Biggs and Lesko back to Congress. AZ isn’t “blue,” it’s a reddish shade of purple.
