@mikemadrid We will have a three party system soon, when Trump realizes that other contenders in the Republican party show up and he will split and create his own MAGA party.

@mikemadrid That could be an interesting topic on your callin show. What does it really mean to be a Dem/Rep? What are the benefits/losses as an Independent? I'd definitely be interested to hear your thoughts.

@mikemadrid it's the whole structure, more than the 2-party part. money in politics, no direct national popular vote, gerrymandering, a malapportioned senate; and the supremes (which a combo of the above would have thwarted...)..the struggle is long.
