Knowledge about Jewish life and antisemitism in Europe over the centuries and the impact of the Holocaust on the Jewish people and the European continent are essential to understand antisemitism today. Research will help to shape Europe’s future free of antisemitism and prevent atrocities from happening again. Research and innovation Framework Programmes have been supporting research on antisemitism, Jewish life and the Holocaust through FP7 and Horizon 2020 and this effort will continue under Horizon Europe.
