Been asked to record, edit and produce a podcast for work, just for internal distribution. Does this mean I can put "professional sound engineer" on the old CV now? ๐Ÿ˜
@Maddambeltaine Even better: I think that may qualify you for "Executive Producer."
@vitruvianmeeple Ha! I don't want to start feeling too Hollywood! ๐Ÿ˜
@Maddambeltaine I mean, youโ€™ve been a professional for YEARS now with the podcast. As Trevor says, thisโ€™ll make you an executive sound engineer!
@c__beck I thought you had to be actually paid to be a professional though, I'm just an enthusiastic amateur at the moment ๐Ÿ˜
@Maddambeltaine do you not have a Patreon?
@c__beck Does a Patreon count? I suppose it does, yeah. In which case, yes, I've been a professional for years!
@Maddambeltaine Patreon gives you monies, so you've been paid to do it, silly goose! #proMoves #audioWiz #masterOfSound
@Maddambeltaine that also means, you are responsible for an internal communication channel, I assume you are doing the project management for the podcast, too.
But yes, AT LEAST professional writing, producing and sound editing.
@CuyGuy the project management sure if things for it, I'm leaving to another manager, so I can't claim that one. Something I'm pretty grateful for as I'm struggling enough running my own two! ๐Ÿ˜„
