@ChristyCeeCK Somehow, I feel this will be a token address to the mortifying death of a child on the floor of an ER. The government knows what they need to do. Serious doubt they have the courage and fortitude to do it.
@1Marzipan @ChristyCeeCK Possibly the ICU beds that are being added to CHEO? Awful timing though and reporters need to ask the questions.
@macca_jan @1Marzipan If it was CHEO, she'd go to Ottawa and this is in Toronto. Let's see where she ends up. If it's a hospital, it's pretty much guaranteed that she'll have a simpering hospital CEO with her.

@1Marzipan I don't think so. The very last question she and her comms people would want would be about that poor child and the family. She'd have to perform emotion and she, just like her predecessor, does not ever want to acknowledge deaths.

It's probably a funding announcement. It's about looking present and involved with healthcare more than any meaningful action to address the current crisis.

@ChristyCeeCK @1Marzipan

I agree...it'll be a funding announcement about more beds or a new building or children's cough medicine...but nothing that will actually help what is happening. No mask mandates and no money for nurses etc.

Like her predecessor, you might get a "yes, that's sad that they died, HOWEVER...."
