Only time I like to imitate canine howling is when I'm around a tiny dog

I find it delightful when a chihuahua or rat terrier howls as best the can

Kind of like when Southern Grasshopper Mice howls

@tiberiusgracchus With dogs it's a different story. It's more "Oh, my human is trying SO HARD to speak dog."

It's just adorable watching a sweet little dog find his inner wolf

It can really freak out the owners too

In the wild, while North America wolves are mostly harmless, aside from disrupting their communication, it seems foolhardy to alert them to where they can find free beef jerky and gorp
