Thereafter, Persephone will spend half of each year in the land of the living, although she will have to return to the
Underworld as Pluto's wife at the end of autumn, defining the cyclical nature of seasons. The mosaic is 2nd c. CE, and is housed at Centrale Montemartini. 2/
