Jeff JarvisAt 1p today, I'm giving a class in Mastodon to faculty and students. It'll be fun. I'll do the practical stuff first -- how to use Mastodon -- but then I hope I'll have time to explore the architecture of the Fediverse and its implications for journalism and media and then the cultural implications for #BlackTwitter and other communities in the Other Place. We'll record it and post it.

✍️@jeffjarvis I do not miss Twitter anymore since signing up for Mastodon and breaking the associated addiction, but what I do miss is the journalism I found there. I hope you get them to break the social media sickness and get them to participate on Mastodon. I’m sure it’ll be important for their careers, as Twitter was for mine when I started.
