Crazy here. Challenging for a geezer who gets lost in Insta ๐Ÿ˜‚
But Iโ€™ll keep tryingโ€ฆ
@BoFrazer I first read this message and heard the word geezer in my local, UK, vernacular, and haven't heard anyone on the more genteel Mastodon use it so was amused. Rereading I suspect you're from over the pond and mean an older gentleman. Either way I'm giving you a follow geezer.
@Twoclownseating geezer is my self-deprecating humorous way of describing myself whenever Iโ€™m tech inept, out of breath, etc. Being 71, I feel entitled to use the term, on myself and others, but never in a mean spirited way. ๐Ÿ’™

@BoFrazer never thought it was mean spirited sir, my reading of it was initially different which was funny. I get your usage, but it took me a minute ๐Ÿ˜„

Geezer in the UK is a multifaceted word, it's a working class/London term. Essentially it means a man, but as with all British terms has a number of levels depending on context

You can be a geezer, as a general man in the street, a good type of man, a slightly formidable man or someone not to be messed with, plus a few more. Context is key

@BoFrazer anyway, welcome aboard Bo, it's a friendly place here, though it can be a bit confusing for even the best of us at first. Dive in and I'm sure you'll enjoy it here more than the other platforms.

Any advice needed I, and others, will help you out. The only stupid question is the one not asked!

Go well gezeer ๐Ÿ˜‰
