Over the weekend, I experimented with a #SoloRPG game using #Microscope, #Mythic and #TheAdventureCrafter to randomly create a setting.

It turned out pretty grim. A company developed a new type of "biological neural AI", were taken over by a dominant news/social media entrepreneur, then eventually took over the UN and world security, before finally the AI took control.

Today my feed is dominated by #ChatGPT and I'm hoping it wasn't a prediction!

@gjstockham I never thought of using something like #TheAdventureCrafter with all the prompts with #Microscope. And I love the idea. #soloRPG
@398w @gjstockham I wanna try using Microscope as an RPG rather than a setting building toolkit.
@Fil3 @gjstockham that's what I always thought of Microscope, and why I never touched it to be honest. Please keep sharing how it goes!
@398w I've been on a #solorpg kick with #WorldsWithoutNumber using the Heroic Rules from #StarsWithoutNumber and #ScarletHeroes using #MythicGME for decision making.
@Fil3 I recently started playing #soloRPG (and RPG at all) and the solo rules from #ScarletHeroes are AWESOME. Between them, #MythicGME, #TheAdventureCrafter from @TanaPigeonWMG and the Neverland setting by Andrew Kolb, I have everything I need
@398w @Fil3 Welcome to the wonderful world of solo role-playing :) I was just working on an article about integrating Mythic and Adventure Crafter. I'm curious, what's your approach to using them together?
@TanaPigeonWMG @Fil3 Hi! #MythicGME is my personal GM guiding me through the road, #theadventurecrafter is the whole map. Details vs big picture. The AC to create scenes involving specific characters with a specific genre. GME for the little things I find on the way.
I use both in their deck version and they are unbelievably good, I honestly think they are not praised enough.
@398w @Fil3 Thank you :) The way you're using them together is what I was envisioning when I made #theadventurecrafter so I love that :)
@TanaPigeonWMG @Fil3 while the GME can give me good plot twists, the AC takes me places I can't think by myself.
Not long ago I tried a #soloRPG with its own rules prompts, and found it lacking. Tried again with a scene made by AC... That was a really fun session.
