@roughintricacies good luck finishing it, hopefully it’s not too stressful! Thirty people reading the thesis sounds about right (although that might actually be a bit high in my case)!
My main purpose for pushing through the PhD was personal academic self-realization. It wasn’t exactly beneficial for my career prospects, finances or overall well-being 
@CatharticOutlet Thank so much! And same here, mine is in cultural studies, so nothing world altering, but it certainly let me grow as a person and also see what I want to go on doing. Glad to hear yours was fruitful in that sense as well!
