So wait... the standard-bearer of the Republican Party has called for the "termination" of the Constitution, but it's progressives who don't believe in the rule of law?

Trump's call for terminating the Constitution constitutes an "act of insurrection or rebellion." As such, he should be barred from serving in public office -- as provided by Article 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Had Trump called for amending the Constitution, there would be no foul. Everyone is free to propose or support amendments -- no matter how ill formed. But, to suggest that the Constitution should be ignored is unforgivably insurrectionist and rebellious.

@bobwyman @rbreich When Trump was sworn in as a new president, he pledged to uphold the Constitution. His call to terminate it should tell everyone what his true character and motives are. Unfortunately, too many dimwits will never see the irony, or his utter disrespect for the law.
