@pluralistic I think another motivation to adopt #AI is to distance the entire human chain of command from the responsibility of those decisions. Who do we blame for those drone strike civilian deaths? "Oh, it was the computer. Oops. Glitches happen." Who do we blame for missing the child in distress? "Oh, the computer wasn't trained for that scenario." etc.
