I am deeply saddened by the passing of one of the greatest lawyers in the area of data protection, Danilo Doneda. He has become one of the leading voices in defense of privacy laws and has inspired a whole generation of DP lawyers. A loss for the present and future of Brazil.

I am in tears for someone I never met personally but whose work influenced me, gave me hope and changed my country for the better.

Rest in peace, Danilo, and thank you very much. 😢 🇧🇷 🌺
