A major strike will have a direct impact on your life. We can't make progress for worker's rights if we're not willing to give up the comforts and privileges we gain from their oppression. The same goes for almost any major disruption to the status quo. Ending our dependence on imperialist, capitalist, and environmental exploitation will be hard. It will be uncomfortable. It will even be painful. That's not a reason not to do it

@efjbgc Rail workers waited until after the elections to strike. Politicians can’t just provide lip service. If it’s going to be too painful for the economy, maybe they should make an actual compromise instead of shoving something down their throats.
