Re your point, @Tupp_ed, on the birdsite about NYT. I find it notable that just a few NYT journos have moved over. And for all Elmo attacks NYT, they are key to his symbiotic claim to eyeballs.

Musk has already signaled to his cult following that the broader objective is to kill the mainstream news, which has only garnered praise and adoration from the Trump and MAGA cultists. Yet, the NY Times, Wapo, and a whole string of outlets are still dancing to his music.
