The incoming GOP majority is going to try and discredit the work of the Jan. 6 Committee. Remember the courage of honorable conservatives like Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger when the extremists begin their assault. They had nothing to gain by opposing their party and Trump, and everything to lose. But they stood up anyway for the rule of law and for democracy.

Liz Chaney is vociferously anti-LGBTQ+. She doesn't get a pass because she isn't as much of a fascist as the rest of the party.

@graygoogirl @georgetakei you are responding to a gay man, he knows her stand on this issue. She stood up for what was right when she knew it would cost her her seat. So build a bridge and get over it.

That is one really angry individual. We all have our axes to grind, but you'd think the Twittwr debacle would teach us that just pulling out the hatchet and slaughtering all nay sayers isn't the best way to build community. Some people don't get that we sometimes just need to pull together instead of scream hysterically and wonder why everyone is stepping g away from us.

I sincerely hope that we - and I mean the LGBTQ community - can learn not to self harm.
