It is mindblowing to me how clearly exponential #AIart is. I remember about a decade ago being amazed by image-to-text captioning, and here we are with text-to-image and it's getting better so damn quickly.

I see so many comments about how this art is only possible because of the massive amount of human-created artwork fed into the systems that create this. Yeah. That's how all of this works. That's the justification for UBI. Demand our rightful inheritance.

Yes, #AIartist will be a new job. It's a new tool for the creation of art. But it will also negate the need for some amount of existing art demand. It will only get even better and even easier to make. I think that's a great thing, but it shouldn't mean more economic insecurity.
