@anneapplebaum This is heartbreaking... I was one of the few people in my area protesting when he broke the news about the NSA. He chose to stand by his morals when pushed. Until now, apparently. He just revoked his position of a whistle blower for liberty.

@patbf @anneapplebaum This is spot-on. Even if the original decision was a principled act of civil disobedience, accepting the consequences should have always been part of that.
