I came to formatting in Word when my teacherwife needed help making lesson plans.

I come from a background of a decade of graphic design with QuarkXpress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator using Macs, and my god, the frustration I had trying to get Word to do even basic, sensical formatting…

I finally had to walk away from it because despite all my experience at formatting and layout, she ended up being faster and spared me by just doing it herself.
