This hypocrisy and callousness is truly shameful. We don’t have to live like this.

US politicians enjoy universal healthcare—but vote NO to universal healthcare for workers.

US politicians enjoy living wages—but vote NO to living wages for workers.

US politicians enjoy paid sick leave—but vote NO to paid sick leave for workers.

We need and demand better. Vote OUT anti-worker politicians. Vote in public servants committed to justice above all else.

@QasimRashid "US politicians" aren't the problem. It's US *Republican* politicians.

One out of fifty Democratic senators voted against paid sick leave for railroad workers. 42 Republican senators voted against it.

It's the same for every bill that dares to benefit workers.

@terrymorse @QasimRashid
I can hold anyone who voted against worker rights accountable no matter what brand they happen to be wearing. And I will.
On the original vote to force a resolution, my own beloved men Raskin and Van Hollen, to my chagrin, voted for it. I have mailed them about this already. They may not care but I fucking do.
