Globular Cluster (M22). These look like a blob in the night sky but they are made up of thousands, possibly millions of stars. Really bizarre objects. Why these form near galaxies is unknown.

C9.25" 2350mm OTA with ZWO monochrome with ZWO asi tracking scope and EQ-G Atlas mount. Single 40-exposure stack using PIPP, Autostakkert and Registax wavelets, Lightroom and Photoshop. (monochrome image)

@jake_snowflake
That's a great photo.

I don't have the equipment for star photography like that, but I used the publicly available Micro Observatory to take this photo of Omega Centauri. I used my own software to process the raw image.

@stargazersmith That's fantastic! I have dozens of objects that have come out less than spectacular but if you get a good tracking assembly kit, you can get more pinpoint stars. Here's my M13 in Hercules... Trust me, it takes time and a lot of money but you can go as far as you want. But even though I don't share these images, I still treasure them bc, like your image, they're still amazing from Earth.
