#spotifywrap end of year nonsense has made me want to visit the (long closed down) independent record shops of my youth. Nothing like unearthing an LP by an artist that nobody had ever heard of before. Usually just as you noticed the person behind the counter wearing a t shirt from the same band and then realising you have not "discovered"Dead Kennedys. Bored of the algorithm.
