Been on Mastodon a few weeks now without a proper introduction - so here goes.

I'm Andy, Senior Tech Artist who's been at Bossa Studios for the past 12 years.

Don't have much of a portfolio online, most recent game is I Am Fish working as Lead Tech Artist, and I started (but sadly never finished) a write up on my website on the main tech I worked on there.

Container Water 00: Experiments in pseudo-fluid bottle simulations for Unity – Andy Green

My goal for Mastodon is continue to build on gamedev, tech art, and graphics rendering connections and see who all the talented folks in our industry are pushing our field forward in one way or another.

Incase anyone's interested, my released games are (oldest to newest)

Monstermind & Merlin the Game (Multiplayer, Facebook)
Twelve a Dozen (Mobile, educational platform)
I Am Bread (Cross platform, infuriating)
Worlds Adrift (PC, MMO, Dead 😔)
Surgeon Simulator 2 (Odd sequel, underrated)
I Am Fish (Cross platform, cute, nice water)
Unannounced

@techartandy ah Merlin! I found this game on a USB drive the other day that was given to me as a promo when I was a fledgling games journo. Great game!
@heytalvi maybe not the same game? Only playable on Facebook sadly
@techartandy Hm interesting. There was a Merlin game released by Bossa in the early 2010s - I swore it was the same one :/

@techartandy ah yep that’s the game! Maybe the USB just has art on it then - I didn’t actually look. Shame it was only on Facebook!

@heytalvi ha, nice. Yeah likely just a press kit 🙂

I remember adding the spoon rather flippantly and it then getting properly added 😅

@heytalvi sadly Merlin the series was ended not long after release, and the game wasn't strong enough to stand on Facebook, by itself, against competition in the genre and the declining games environment on there
@techartandy That’s really sad as I remember playing a demo version on the convention floor and it was great :)
