Anyone else noticed that there appears to be a shortage of some food items in the supermarkets? There seems to have been a dearth of eggs for example*, or am I imagining it?
Also, was told by a worker in my local Lidl that the reason there is a distinct lack of their in-store cooked breads and pastries for some weeks now is because the doughs etc are not available.

* I was so tempted to write eggsample, but thought better of it. Ha!
