Twitter capitalized one “T” as the indicator that it’s a proper noun, so we can ignore it in our calculations. Both examples duplicate a single letter, but as “T” has a higher usage frequency in English we know that the emphasis on “O” represents a freshness and rarity that suggests “Mastodon” is more valuable.
