@emi @flancian @matt it would be a framework within which the current system could continue and perhaps increase. A fixed monthly budget within which to work. Would that make sense for CWB?

@ntnsndr @flancian @Matt_Noyes @CaitlinWaddick I think for CWG, we’d use the money for things like honorariums for folks that organize community things like reading group sessions or happy hour sessions… based on our track record this doesn’t happen consistently on a monthly basis… but maybe quarterly? It would keep us on track to recruit people to run these sessions

@emi @flancian @Matt_Noyes @CaitlinWaddick great. Do you all want to finalize a proposal for a monthly 250 GBP budget in your WG and then bring it to the main group?

I think having clear budgets like this will be helpful for planning and giving WGs flexibility.

@ntnsndr @emi @flancian @CaitlinWaddick Hi all. Oddly these did not show up in my notifications (even with the right Matt ;-))... I hope I'm not missing other things and failing to respond... Anyway, we have our ops team meeting on Monday, so we can talk about this idea then.
